Hello! On behalf of myself and other residents residing in Woolloongabba, I’d like to ask for attendees to please be mindful of those living in the area. Each Saturday of every month, some members of the Coffee and Cars community drive at high-speed and rev engines loudly starting at 5am in high density residential areas. The apartment buildings appear sound proof, but I and my neighbours can assure you they indeed are not. Unfortunately if it keeps happening, naturally police will be advised and number plates recorded as this is an offence under ‘hooning’. I hope you can understand the concern and request, I’d really rather not call police. If you’d like to discuss more I’m open to having a coffee and conversation:)
Hi Chelsea, we do not support this behaviour at all. Sadly a few spoil it for the rest. We encourage the police to attend our events to discourage these few.
